Project Overview

This project, commissioned by the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC Gov), focuses on creating a dedicated space for tribal women to showcase their handicrafts. Titled "Emporium for Tribal Women," the facility is located in Dangaigaon, Chirang, and is part of the broader "Livelihood Enhancing Economic Development Projects" initiative.

Architectural Scope & Design

The design includes a multi-functional layout catering to both commercial and administrative needs. Key areas identified in the Ground Floor plan include:

Admin Area:

Dedicated administrative space for facility management.

Childcare Area:

A designated zone to support working mothers and visitors.

Curved Facade Design:

The floor plan reveals a distinct curved architectural layout, optimizing space for handicraft displays.

Material Takeoff & Analysis

Our Revit model generated precise quantity takeoffs for construction planning. The analysis for wall materials indicates a substantial requirement for common brick, totaling 486.20 m³ across interior and exterior walls. Specifically, the exterior 230mm walls account for 82.17 m³, while interior 150mm walls make up 67.31 m³.

Key Construction Quantities:

Total Brick Count: Estimated at 228,563 units based on volume calculations.
Ceramic Wall Tiles: 2,736 tiles required for toilet areas, covering 4,975.36 sq ft.
Oak Flooring: 4,280.94 sq ft allocated for ground floor interior spaces.
